UltrasoundAn ultrasound can confirm your pregnancy. It will allow you to see the baby in your womb and the beating heart if you are pregnant. It is also important that you know if your pregnancy is viable. Viable means that the baby is capable of developing under normal conditions. Ultrasound may be able to rule out multiple pregnancy (twins) or a tubal (or ectopic) pregnancy. There's no way of knowing with a urine test if either of these has occurred. Approximately 1 out of 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage and only an ultrasound can detect if this may be a possibility in your case. Not only will you want proof that you are pregnant, but you may need to know for sure how far along you are. If it is important for you to know that you have a viable pregnancy or how far along you are, the next step for you will be to schedule an appointment for your Free pregnancy test.
